Hi there. Any updates on characters coming back to Ohana breakfast? Thanks!

Aloha, Monica! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for dropping by to chit-chat with me about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Monica, 'Ohana has always been one of my favorite places to dine during a Walt Disney World vacation. I can actually remember eating there as a little girl and now I get to dine there with my family too. It's a pretty special place. I love everything about it from the ambiance to the food. It's just great!

At this time, Monica, I don't have an update on if or when characters might return to breakfast at 'Ohana. I am, however, keeping an eye out over on the Disney Parks Blog. When an announcement is made, that is going to be where we find out all of the details. 'Ohana for breakfast is a feast served family-style right to your table. During your breakfast, you'll enjoy menu offerings like freshly made Pineapple-Coconut Breakfast Bread which has always been a fan favorite. You'll also have fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, ham, fried island-style potatoes, biscuits and of course, we can't forget about those Mickey waffles. So good!

If you have your heart set on character dining while you are on vacation in July, you do have quite a few options to choose from. Here are restaurants currently offering character dining:

    • Chef Mickey's
    • Garden Grill Restaurant
    • Hollywood & Vine
    • Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
    • Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera
    • Tusker House Restaurant
You can make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your stay, Monica, for the length of your stay up to 10 days. Advanced dining reservations open up online at 6:00 a.m. via your MyDisneyExperience account or over the phone starting at 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. I do suggest setting your alarm clock bright and early. I have better luck securing a reservation that I really want at 6:00 a.m. so I do recommend trying to be online at that time.

I hope this helps, Monica. If you have any other questions as you finalize your trip details, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
