Hiya Jaynee!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us your question! Wow, Jaynee, you have picked such a magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Not only is the weather in May absolutely perfect, but you will be there to enjoy the
50th-anniversary celebrations as well as the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!
Now, let's talk about My Disney Experience and your reservations! I am happy to report that I often have the same issue and that your reservations are usually still in the system. Thankfully, there are a few things you can do to confirm your reservations. First, I recommend logging into your
My Disney Experience account from a
different browser and/or on another device. For example, whenever I have issues accessing my plans on My Disney Experience through Google Chrome, I try to log into my account on Safari instead. Similarly, if you are having issues with your
mobile app, you may try and log into your account on your computer instead! Another way to double-check and confirm your reservations is to check your email inbox. Indeed, you should receive an email notification every time you book a Resort, dining or theme park reservation. Lastly, if you are still having issues finding your reservations, I recommend
contacting a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and they will be able to help you locate and link your reservations so that you can use them on your upcoming Disney vacation!
When your reservations are sorted, it is then time to plan the fun things: all the activities you will be experiencing on your vacation! One of my favourite things to do during the month of May is to visit the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. The beautiful sight of EPCOT in full bloom, the themed topiaries and the fresh food offerings are perfect for celebrating the springtime. First, I would highly recommend stopping by the "Flavor Full Kitchen" booth near Starbucks. Their Corn on the Cob à la Mexican Street Corn is simply scrumptious, and their non-alcoholic Blood Orange Agua Fresca is so refreshing and perfect for a warm spring day. Second, my Flower and Garden tradition is to grab a Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at the Pineapple Promenade, and it is a must-do in my book!
I hope this was helpful, Jaynee, and that you and your loved ones have the most magical time on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help, and you're as welcome as can be!
Have a magical dai-sy,
Ariane
