    I have updated my main profile showing me and removing my husband who has passed away. I am now trying to link my name as family/friends to the actual main account holder. I want to make sure my annual pass is connected to the right person

    I'm wishing you a warm welcome to planDisney! I'm honored to be able to assist you with your question and want to relay with all my heart that I am so sorry for your loss. Moving forward and finding ways to celebrate life in Walt Disney World Resort sure sounds perfect and I hope it is healing and full of joy. 

    Let me help you with your My Disney Experience Account linking situation. You stated in your question that you updated your main profile. I'm hoping this means that you and your husband had separate accounts using separate emails. When looking at your profile what do you see? You should see your full name, your chosen character, and an option to see all of your Membership & Passes. All of the Disney products that are linked to your specific MyDisney account should be viewable here such as your Annual Passholder status, Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club Member status, and even if you are a Disney Visa Cardmember! You should see your profile and your memberships all linked and if you do not see your Annual Pass there then you can link them here. I found the needed ID numbers from my emailed receipt from when I purchased the pass online. If you bought this Annual Pass with your husband and have yet to use it know that it can be reassigned to another person on your Family & Friends List by selecting "Reassign Ticket." Have it reassigned to you so that you can use it on your upcoming trip!

    If you find when looking at the account profile someone else's name then you may have an account that is being managed by another person. Just changing the name does not mean the products are now properly linked.  You will have to create your own MyDisney account and have the information all "merged" together. The best way to do this is to reach out to a Cast Member at "My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+." Speaking in person with someone who can properly link up your Annual Pass and plans to your new profile is the way to go. Once the Cast Members link up everything to your new profile that is not managed by anyone then you can connect to all of the people that were on your Family & Friends List. There is a chance this could all transfer but if not, I have a feeling you may see them in the list of "Guests You May Know" which may make things easier. If not, just select "+Add a Guest" and work from there to connect to those you want.
