Is there an updated list on what restaurants are open at all the parks. Also, I am staying at the All Star Music in a handicapped room. Can I get a roll-away for my room?

Hello there, Marci. It always makes me smile when I see a fellow North Carolinian here at planDisney. I can see that your vacation to the most magical place on earth is not too far away, I bet you are getting so excited!

Yes, I think you'll be happy to know that there is a list of all the dining options currently open at Walt Disney World right now. You have to click around a little bit to see it all but I'm going to help you through it. This is the official page of the Walt Disney World website (linked for you) where you can find experience updates and changes throughout Walt Disney World. Once on that page, you are going to want to scroll down to the first section which is titled, Changes and Enhancements to Dining. At the bottom of that section, you'll see a link to discover which dining options are open and you'll want to select that. From there, you'll be able to explore which options are open based on two categories: Theme Parks and Disney Springs and Disney Resort Hotels. When you select the Theme Parks and Disney Springs option it breaks what is open down into links that take you to each individual theme park. If you are looking for a great sit down meal, The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is my current go-to. The food is absolutely delicious, there is plenty of variety on the menu to please even the pickiest of eaters, the restaurant has gorgeous views of Disney Springs and I can always seem to snag a dining reservation. If you love truffle at all, the truffle fries are an all-time favorite of mine. I've been known to order a whole plate of them before as my meal.  Give it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Most Resorts do have a small amount of roll-away beds they can provide on a first-come, first-serve basis for an additional charge. If this is something that you will definitely need, you will want to call and add this request to your reservation as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure the actual request can't be placed until you check-in but at least it will be notated on your account for a Cast Member to see. Please do be aware that a roll-away bed cannot be used to increase the capacity of the room.

Marci, I hope you enjoy planning the rest of your Walt Disney World vacation. If I can help you with anything else before your trip, I hope you'll come back and ask me.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
