Do you have an updated dinner menu from the Carthays Circle World of Color Dining? Its our first trip to Disneyland and we want to make sure we see it all! Any suggestions? Whats the best Character Breakfast there? Kids are 16/13

    Hi, Christina!

I hope you’re having lots of fun planning your vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth, and I’m glad to hear you want to see World of Color—it’s on my list of “must-dos!”

Carthay Circle Restaurant’s World of Color Dining Package currently includes a starter, entrée and dessert of your choice from a special menu. The offerings can often be found online if you want to have an idea what the selections will be in advance. In my experience, allears.net has been a reliable source for theme park menus.

There is not a set list of characters that can be found at each restaurant, and it really makes for fun surprises since the character lineup varies. The only character you’re guaranteed to see is the one whose name is featured in the title, like the Surf's Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends, Plaza Inn’s Breakfast with Minnie and Friends, and the character meals served at Goofy’s Kitchen.

At the character meals at Storyteller’s Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you’ll often find Chip and Dale and other woodland characters like Brother Bear and Winnie the Pooh. On our most recent visit to Goofy’s Kitchen, we met a diverse group of characters like Pluto, Pocahontas, Rafiki, Goofy and Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. At Ariel’s Grotto, you’re guaranteed to meet Ariel herself, along with a few other princesses that can include Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White and Jasmine. Many Guests like the in-park atmosphere and character interaction at Plaza Inn, and I personally think the best breakfast food is at Storyteller’s Café.

Reservations can be made in advance online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463). I hope this helps, Christina, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
