Hi Megan,
I appreciate you bringing your tiggerific question to planDisney. With
four theme parks to explore at
Walt Disney World Resort, park hopping is a great way to diversify your park day experience. I'd be happy to talk you through the steps of upgrading your tickets to include the
Park Hopper option.
Once you've logged into your
My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World Resort website, select "My Plans" from the "My Disney Experience" drop-down menu on the toolbar and scroll down until you see your "Daily Itinerary." Next click over to "Tickets and Memory Maker." Once you select a ticket to change, you should be able to change the dates and add options like Park Hopper and Genie+. These changes can also be done in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App by clicking the three small, horizontal lines on the bottom right of the home screen, selecting "Tickets and Passes," selecting the ticket you wish to upgrade and the option to change your ticket. If you run into any problems, Megan, please call the
Existing Tickets number and a friendly Cast Member would be happy to assist.
Please note that a
Disney Park Pass reservation is required to access your first park of the day and you must enter that park before you can park hop. You can currently park hop beginning at 2:00 p.m. without an additional park pass reservation as park availability allows. I recommend taking the
Park Hours calendar into consideration when plotting your day. My family will often get an early start to the day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom park, take a midday rest at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and stay out late at
EPCOT. Talk about maximizing the magic!
Be sure to hop back over to planDisney with any other questions before, during, or after your visit to
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
