Hello there Elsa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I can't tell you how hard to not make a Frozen Dad joke as I'm sure you've heard them all. If one does accidentally slip into my answer, I hope you'll let it go. It looks like you'll be at the Disneyland Resort in just a couple of days - how exciting!
When it comes to the names on
standard theme park tickets, I'm happy to share that they're mostly just to help you keep them organized. When you arrive at the parks for the first time, the Cast Member at the entry gate will take a picture of each Guest that will then be associated with their ticket for the duration of its use. This is what is used to make sure the same Guest uses the same ticket - not the name you see in your
Disneyland mobile app.
Just in way of disclaimer, the above is for standard theme park tickets, so if you purchased
special offer tickets then make sure to read the terms & conditions on what might be needed for those specific tickets.
If you would like to change the name on existing theme park tickets, then you would want to
call a Cast Member at the Tickets line who can make this change for you.
Thanks again for your question, Elsa! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
