How do I update my children's profile on my "family and friends list". When we went to disney last time, they were managed by my mother. She is not traveling with us this time. How do I change to my account?

    Bonjour Robin!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us your question! I am so glad you stopped by and made us a part of your planning journey. There is no better place to create magical memories with your family than at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially during the World's Most Magical Celebration! You have also picked such a great time to visit with all the new magic coming to EPCOT.

The My Disney Experience mobile app is so helpful when planning a Disney vacation, especially when you are going with little ones or not-so-tech-savvy family members. There are two ways to make plans for your children this time around. First, you could create new profiles for your children so that you manage them. However, you want to ensure that there are no duplicates, as this can create issues when making plans, linking tickets and booking Lightning Lane selections. Therefore, your mother would have to delete the profiles previously created for your children. This can be done online by logging into her My Disney Experience or contacting a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Second, you can also connect with the profiles through your Family & Friends List. Under the My Disney Experience tab, click on My Family & Friends and then on "Add a Guest." You can either click on "Find through my connected Guests," but make sure that your mother's list is public when clicking on her own profile in her Family & Friends List. Otherwise, if you all have a Resort reservation together, you can click on "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." Again, you can also contact a Cast Member via chat, email or phone for assistance. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents and can help you with anything!

Once your accounts are settled and you are on your magical vacation, I would highly recommend visiting Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Not only is it a great ride for little ones, but it is unlike anything you have experienced at the Walt Disney World Resort before. The French ambiance, the music, the impressive effects and the delicious smells make this ride a must-do. And did I mention there is a crêpe stand right outside? Their Chocolate-Hazelnut crêpe is my absolute favourite, but you must try the ratatouille crêpe if you are looking for a savoury option!

I hope this was helpful, Robin, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, don't hesitate to reach out. You're always welcome chez Remy!

Have a magical day and bon appétit,
