Hello. We have an upcoming vacation planned to Disneyland and CA Adventure this June. We are staying at the Grand Ca Hotel, and we were wondering if the pool area will be open or will it likely be closed to due the pandemic? Thanks!

    Hey Adam!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the perfect hotel for your next stay! With Craftsman elegance at every turn, it’s sure to be your Best Trip Ever! You’ll want to make sure that you grab a bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants on property. GCH Craftsman Bar is a favorite in our house but you can't go wrong with any of them! Later this month, Napa Rose and Storytellers Café will be reopening so it will be just in time for your trip in June!

I just returned from a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! It was so relaxing and I was able to enjoy food, drinks, and of course the pools! You heard that right, all three pools are open at the hotel! It may look different when you visit in June but for now you’ll need to check in with a Cast Member at one of the pool entrances. You’ll then be assigned a seating area that is sanitized in between parties.

The spas and kiddie pools are limited to one family at a time but there is a large spa that accommodates multiple families as long as you are socially distanced. Servers are still coming around to take your food and beverage orders for you to enjoy poolside. I highly recommend the Grand Mai Tai and the Double-baked nachos. The Redwood Creek Waterslide is open as well but it did close down early when I was there. If anyone in your party wants to do the waterslide, make sure you ask what time it closes for the day.

Well Adam, you’ll be splish splashin in no time!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
