Upcoming trip, and we are super excited! How will I know that my tickets are connected to my Magic Bands? We have Magic Bands from our previous trip, and I see that they are still active. We have purchased tickets. How do I connect the two?

Hi Camilla! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh boy, oh boy! Your return to the Walt Disney World Resort is super close and I know how exciting (and busy!) those final days of a vacation countdown are. You are set to have another amazing trip!

MagicBands make getting around the theme parks SO easy and reusing the ones from your last trip is a great idea! While the battery life is said to last around two years, I have used some past that age. Some friends of mine like to keep all their past MagicBands to take different colors and coordinate them to their outfits. Fashion accessories AND theme park tickets ... how fun is that?!

As long as your MagicBands and your Walt Disney World theme park tickets are both linked to each person on My Disney Experience, your tickets will be auto-magically linked to your MagicBands. If you have your actual tickets (cards), I would bring them with you just in case, but I have never had any issue reusing a MagicBand with new tickets as long as both showed up in my personal My Disney Experience account.

I hope you have the BEST visit, Camilla! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
