We have an upcoming trip and will be staying on property. My niece lives in Orlando and will will be joining us. I added her to my planning group. Will she be able to join us for extra magic hours?

    Hello, Sueanne,

How exciting to hear that you have an upcoming trip, and I think it will be even more special that your niece will be able to join you.  My family loves Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks and how the crowds are often lighter then since this perk is only for guests of Disney resorts.  If your niece will be staying at a Disney resort, she will be able to join you for Extra Magic Hours. If she isn't, however, she won't be able to do so.  If that happens to be the situation, if you are planning on Extra Magic Hours in the morning, she can join you after the park opens.  If you are planning on Extra Magic Hours in the evening, you could still enjoy an entire day together at the theme park. If you'd like to continue spending the evening together, I'd like to suggest Disney Springs.   With all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment, you'll have plenty of things to choose from. My family's personal favorite is Splitsville Luxury Lanes for a competitive, but fun game of bowling. The food there is also very tasty, so it's the best of both worlds for us.

Wishing you a magical trip.  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
