For our upcoming trip we plan on utilizing Magic Bands for purchases to avoid carrying wallets. What about needing an ID if we wanted to purchase an alcoholic drink? Will they be able to see our ages via the Magic Band or do we still have to carry IDs?

    Hi Kelly!

One of the best things about MagicBands is the room-charging privileges! You can purchase alcoholic beverages with your MagicBand, however you do still need to carry and show ID to verify your age when purchasing it. A couple of my friends use lanyards to carry their IDs around their necks if they don't wish to carry a wallet or purse.

If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a magical, fantastical vacation!
