From one Marylander to another, welcome to planDisney! I’m a Guest just like you who enjoys helping Guests plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I’ve had lots of experience linking family and friends to my account, so hopefully, I can sprinkle a bit of pixie dust your way and get this issue sorted out for you.
First, go to your My Disney Experience account and toggle to your
Family and Friends List to see that everyone in your party’s name appears on your list. Next to each person’s name in your list, select “Update” and “All My Plans” so that they can view all of your vacation plans. After you’ve done this, ask your family and friends to follow the same steps on their accounts. Once you’ve refreshed your page or logged out and back in, everyone in your party should appear.
If not, you may need to try “Add a Guest” again. Alternatively, you may need to
speak with a Cast Member who focuses on My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ on the phone to sort the issue out for you.
Your trip will be here in less than 12 parsecs! Once your party is linked up, I recommend checking to make sure that everyone in your party has their theme park tickets, theme park reservations, and a mode of entry (e.g., Magic Band, Disney
MagicMobile Service, or a physical ticket from a ticket window) for each day you plan on visiting the theme parks.
