Hello, Amanda!
Welcome back, thanks so much for your question! Multi-generational trips to the Disneyland Resort are so special, I feel like they're exactly the kind of family fun that Walt intended when he designed Disneyland Park. There really is something for everyone to enjoy, and lots of things that you can enjoy together.
I totally understand that not everyone loves wearing a MagicBand+ during their park day. In my experience, the best way to get a printed ticket is to arrive with a paper copy of your
Disney eTicket to scan as you enter the park. Having a paper eTicket typically triggers a paper ticket to be printed the first time you enter the park. They aren't hard plastic, but they are pretty sturdy. Putting the ticket inside a lanyard you can wear is a great way to keep it safe and accessible. Paper tickets make a fun souvenir, too!
I really like using the
Attractions page on the Disneyland website to find our "must-do" activities as a group. When I travel with the whole club we often split up to enjoy different things, but we try to come together for some meals, photos, and attractions as well. You can use the filters on the Attractions page to check height requirements, health advisories, and other factors that might influence a multi-generational group. One of my favorite filters is found under "All Filters" and it's the "1955 Original Ride" option. These attractions have been at Disneyland Park since it opened, and they're all great choices for the whole family! One of those original attractions is the
Main Street Vehicles. I love riding these with a big family group, it's such a charming and fun way to enjoy the atmosphere of Main Street, U.S.A. and the vehicles are a great photo opportunity!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort, Amanda! Safe travels and lots of pixie dust!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
