Hello, we have an upcoming trip in October 2025(2 day park hopper tickets 10/13-10/16). We are planning on visiting 2 parks each day with Magic Kingdom and EPCOT being the last park on alternating days. Which 2 parks pairs best in regards to transportation

    Hiya Maria,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy that you are here and that we can answer your question about your upcoming vacation!

If you ask me, Maria, you have the right idea. Two theme parks a day is my preferred amount per day as well. It allows me to experience quite a lot of attractions in one day without getting too tired. That said, travel between the theme parks can detract from your theme park days, so I completely understand wanting to ensure that you are being intentional about your timing. Now I’ll start with perhaps the easiest, and my favorite, pairing – EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. These two theme parks are ideally suited to be paired together because of the multiple ways to get between the two. If you start your days at Hollywood Studios you can either walk (20-30 minutes) from the entrance to Hollywood Studios to the entrance at International Gateway (between France and England), take the FriendShip Boat, ride the Skyliner (my favorite and not too crowded in the middle of the day), or ride a bus (typically the longer option of the four).

Since you are trying to split Magic Kingdom and EPCOT up on different days that leaves you with pairing Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom together. I actually love these two together because Animal Kingdom tends to close earlier than the other theme parks, so you can really get a lot accomplished in a half day. The only downside is that two parks are spread far apart compared to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, for example. There is a bus that takes you between Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, which arrives about every 20 minutes, and the ride is around 20-25 minutes, so be prepared to spend around 45 minutes in transit between the two. If this doesn’t fit in your schedule, then I highly suggest using the Minnie Van Service. The Minnie Van Service is not complimentary, but I find that it is the quickest way to get between those two theme parks in my experience, and it is almost exclusively the way I travel between the two. I have two Mouseketeers in car seats, so I love that the Minnie Vans come with car seats, and I can fold up my stroller into the trunk easily.

I hope this was helpful, Maria. No matter what parks you pair together, I know you will have a magical time. If you need anything else, please come back and see us. We would love to help you have the very best day ever!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
