On my upcoming trip this November, I plan on taking a family picture to place on our Christmas cards. Can you recommend a few locations within Walt Disney World that would be ideal for our family picture?

    Hi Sean!

Congratulations on planning your upcoming trip.  You and your family must be so excited to embark on your Walt Disney World Adventure!

Like you, I also enjoy taking special photos so I can appreciate your question.  There are so many enchanting backdrops for special photos throughout Disney World.  Are you looking for locations in the parks?  If so, how about that iconic shot in front of Cinderella Castle?  I like to book an early dining reservation in Magic Kingdom Park, before park opening.  That early reservation will afford you early entrance and you can grab that photo op without crowds in front of the castle!  My personal favorite shot of Cindy's Castle is just outside The Crystal Palace with the grass in the foreground.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, there are many unique shots with beautiful backgrounds.  If you have thrill seekers in your family, there is a great photo opportunity of the Expedition Everest attraction inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  As you face the shop at the exit of the attraction, go to the right. How about a unique photo opportunity near one of the country pavilions inside Epcot Theme Park?

Feel free to write back if I can help you with a specific location.  I'm happy to help!

Thanks for visiting me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I wish you a truly magical vacation.
