Even though the show has been updated, the process to register for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple hasn't changed too much over the years. However, the location for registration is different now, so I'm glad you asked!
To register your son for
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, head to the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost located between the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the 50's Prime Time Café. And remember, your son must be present at the time of registration.
As you probably know, this is a very popular attraction at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, so plan to arrive at the park a bit before the park opens if you can so you can get registered right away.
