Hiya, Abigail! Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so glad to see you here again with questions about upcoming trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
I am excited about the pre-arrival planning benefit racing our way with the new
Lightning Lane program. With the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, Guests staying at
Walt Disney World Resort and other select hotels can purchase these passes and make three attraction experience selections seven days before their check-in date. All other Guests are welcome to begin their magical planning three days before their theme park visit.
Currently,
you must maintain your eligibility as a resort Guest to have the 7-day advance benefit. If you have a resort reservation and end up canceling it, you may have a period of time to make another resort reservation and maintain your eligibility. If you lose eligibility, you will keep the pass purchase, but the experience selections you made will be removed.
If you think the chances of changing your plans are high and you will not know until a day or two before, Abigail, you may want to make your selections at the 3-day mark. I know the 7-day window is a phenomenal benefit of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If you think your plans are likely to change, you can at least take advantage of the 3-day advance planning.
I was really excited when it was announced
Tiana's Bayou Adventure would be included among the Lightning Lane Multi Pass options. I cannot wait for my next trip and the chance to see Tiana's next chapter. My panelist friend
Alison said this ride is perfection. Now, I can't wait to hear her review on the beignets at
Golden Oak Outpost. As a gal from Louisiana, I trust her take on these things.
I hope you have a magical trip to Walt Disney World! And I hope you know your plans in time so you can make a decision about Lightning Lanes without worry.
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Jana
