Hi! On our upcoming trip, my husband and I have reservations for a food and wine pairing presentation at EPCOT. It’s mid-afternoon. Any suggestions as to what our 9-y-o twin boys can do during this time? Thank you!

Hi Cynthia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First, can I just say how excited I am that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is almost here?! As much as I love the other seasonal events at the Walt Disney World Resort (especially Christmas events!), this festival is still my favorite. Does it really get any better than food, wine and Epcot?? I think not!

I'll start by letting you know what the Park Rules are pertaining to minors in the theme parks: Please supervise your children at all times. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter the Park. To board an attraction, children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older.

With that in mind, here a couple of ideas. There are Childcare Services called Kid's Nite Out that offer both In-Room and In-Park Assistance. You can reach them at (407) 828-0920 and see if they offer anything that will fit your needs on the day of your reservation. There is also Pixar Play Zone in Disney's Contemporary Resort that is super fun for kiddos! This is offered nightly for $65 plus tax, per child, and reservations can be made at (407) 824-5437. This may start too late for your reservation though, as Pixar Play Zone hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. nightly.

I hope this information helps you find something that works for your family, Cynthia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
