Hiya, Meredith! Welcome to planDisney!
You’ve chosen a great time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort, Meredith. My family and I travel at the end of April and the beginning of May every year. It’s one of our favorite times of year to visit. The weather is generally lovely, and there isn’t typically as much rain as there is in the summer and fall months.
To answer your question, Meredith, I reviewed the prohibited items list for Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, the
Property Rules state that wagons and stroller wagons are prohibited in the theme parks and water parks. Therefore, based on what you’ve described and the current policy, Cast Members at the parks would likely not allow it into the parks.
I know this likely isn’t the news you were hoping to hear, Meredith. Having said that, there are other options. Bags or bags with wheels smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are allowed in the parks. You could utilize something like this to carry anything you might need during your park days. Alternatively, you could also bring or
rent a stroller, as long as it is smaller than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. This could be used to store and transport your items as well.
You will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. EPCOT is at its most beautiful at this time of year, with gorgeous gardens and whimsical Disney character topiaries. Plus, there is a ton of delicious eats and sips at the Outdoor Kitchens throughout the park. Disney Parks Blog just released their
Foodie Guide, and I’m daydreaming of some of those snacks!
If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at

See you real soon!
