We have an upcoming trip to Disneyland Hotel and are coming from Canada. I would like to have groceries delivered for when we arrive. Are there any delivery services that don't require subscription and will accept a Canadian credit card?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrea! I'm so honored that you've trusted us with your question about grocery delivery at the Disneyland Resort. I'm so excited to hear you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel for your upcoming visit! It has such a classic theming with some surprising details celebrating the history of Disneyland Park. Plus, you'll be near one of my all-time favorite dining locations, Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar

Andrea, I'm happy to share that you may certainly order grocery delivery from any third-party service and have them drop off your order at the Disneyland Hotel. When you place your order, please use the address to the Disneyland Hotel, as well as your name and check-in date for your hotel reservation.

If you are not opting to meet the delivery driver in the hotel lobby, you can request that Bell Services store your grocery order for you, especially if you are enjoying the theme parks or are still in transit. This is especially helpful if you have refrigerated items that require cold storage. In this case, I suggest calling ahead and asking a Cast Member at the front desk to place a note on your reservation so that they are prepared for when the delivery arrives.

In terms of the grocery delivery service providers, I have not been required to purchase a subscription with Door Dash, Walmart, or Instacart during my previous visits. Although, occasionally, I have paid a higher delivery fee for a one-time order than I would have paid with a monthly subscription service. I suggest reviewing the list of acceptable payment methods for your chosen grocery delivery service provider on their website. Generally, most will accept international credit cards if they are affiliated with a major credit card company. However, another option may be to purchase gift cards to your preferred grocery retailers or delivery service providers. We have often done this when we travel with family members who visit from outside of the United States.

I hope these suggestions have been helpful, Andrea! If we can offer any other personalized recommendations or advice, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly or to any of our wonderful planDisney panelists!

    Magic awaits you,
