I have an upcoming trip (18 days) and I am going to have to cancel. I have a package with two park days and also Christmas party tickets. How much of this money will I lose? Will I get any back at all?

    Hi Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry to hear you need to cancel your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

According to the Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions for Walt Disney World Resort, package cancellations made two to 29 days prior to your scheduled arrival will be refunded minus a $200.00 cancellation fee. This cancellation fee is subject to change without notice.

Since your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are special events tickets and were paid in full at the time of purchase, these tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. It may be possible to use the value of your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets towards tickets for a future special event, but that is not guaranteed, and you must speak to a Cast Member to ask about making this change. You can call the number listed under “Existing Tickets” for assistance from a Cast Member.

I hope you find time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, Michelle. Keep an eye on the Special Offers page to see if you can apply any discounts on a future vacation! If you have any further questions, come back and see us at planDisney
