we have an upcoming trip on aug 5, im making dinner reservations and wondering if there is any restaurants where you can sit and watch any of the fireworks shows without being in the park, The only one Im aware of is California Grill.

Greetings Kara, from one fellow Canuck to another!

It doesn't get much better than enjoying a delicious meal at Walt Disney World with a view of the fireworks. California Grill, which you already mentioned, is my favourite place for fireworks viewing outside the Theme Parks. With its observation deck perched atop Disney's Contemporary Resort, the expansive views of Cinderella Castle can't be beat. The restaurant lights will be dimmed, with the soundtrack for Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular piped in for your enjoyment. The fireworks can be seen from many tables in the restaurant, or guests can step outside to enjoy views from the open air observation desk. Guests dining earlier in the evening are also welcome to save their dining receipts to return to watch the fireworks later in the evening from the observation deck.

Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is another signature dining location offering terrific views of Happily Ever After. Once again, many tables in the restaurant offer wonderful fireworks views. There is also a great wrap around deck which provides stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Cinderella Castle, and of course, the fireworks.

Last, but certainly not least, 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort also offers many tables with perfect views of Cinderella Castle and the Happily Ever After fireworks show.

Wishing you a Happily Ever After dining experience!
