Hi, Meredith!
Ah, an April vacation to Walt Disney World sounds amazing! Plan time for the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Nothing says SPRING like beautiful flowers blooming all over the park!
If you plan to charge to your
MagicBand+ while in Walt Disney World, you will first want to make sure you are set up for room charges by having a credit card attached to your
My Disney Experience account. You will also need to have a PIN code set as you will need to use this when making purchases.
Your MagicBand+ does not actually hold any financial information such as credit card numbers or Gift Card balances. It simply allows you to charge to your resort hotel account. What I suggest is to use the Disney Gift Card at the register (an easy swipe on the machine!) Gift Cards are accepted at restaurants, gift shops, and snack kiosks. If you prefer, tap your MagicBand+ which will charge to your room folio. When returning to your resort, you may go to the front desk, and they will apply your Gift Card funds to your outstanding charges.
Have fun planning your magical visit to Walt Disney World with your family! If anyone has any questions before your arrival, stop back to your pals here at planDisney!
