Hey there, Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I can see that your vacation is just a few short weeks away, I bet you are getting so excited!
Jennifer, I think you'll be happy to know that you can have groceries delivered to your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel before you check-in. The groceries will be held, until you arrive, with Bell Services. If you have cold items, those will be kept in a refrigerator for you, so no worries there! When you're ready, you can grab those items from Bell Services in your resort lobby or have them delivered to your room for a small fee. I personally like to have Bell Services bring my groceries up to my room while I unpack and get the room settled, it helps speed things along so I can get to all the magic that awaits! I'm not sure if you have a company in mind or not, but I highly suggest using Garden Grocer for your grocery needs while on vacation. They have a great reputation and have been delivering to Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for a long time. The ordering process with them is very simple and I have never had any issues. Some items I always seem to order are bottled water, sodas and small snacks to keep in my bag throughout the day.
I wanted to mention that right now, due to the current circumstances, eating or drinking in line for attractions is currently prohibited as face coverings need to be worn at all times. I noticed, because of this, on our last trip we snacked much less. Keep this in mind when placing your grocery order, you probably won't need to order as much as you'd think. We actually barely touched the snacks I kept in my purse because we were too busy bouncing from one attraction to the next. To eat or drink while at the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks right now, you must be completely pulled over to the side and physically distant from other people to be able to remove your face covering. You also are allowed to eat and drink at the relaxation stations set up throughout the parks and at all of the dining locations that are currently open. Really pretty much anywhere will work, just not in line for attractions.
I hope this helps, Jennifer. If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and ask. I hope you have so much fun on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
