Hi I have an upcoming stay at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. The room I will staying in does not have a microwave. Are there any common areas at the lodge that has microwave for quests use.

    Hi Andrea,

Jambo! Oh, you are going to absolutely love your wild stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. There is nothing like Disney coffee, and let me say that it tastes extra special when enjoyed from a stunning balcony with some incredible animal pals in the distance. The theming around the entire Resort hotel is stunning, but my favorite area is definitely Uzima Springs Pool, the 11,000- square foot swimming hole. Make sure to pack your favorite swimsuit because that 67-foot waterslide is calling your name!

I'm happy to share with you that you will find a microwave for your use conveniently located in The Mara, a counter-service restaurant located on the first floor of your Resort hotel. There is also a toaster in case you want to enjoy a warm bagel and cream cheese to start your day (also available for sale in this location!)

Andrea, did you know that this Disney Resort hotel is home to the largest private collection of African art housed outside of Africa? If you would like to be sure that you don't miss a thing, meet a tour guide at the medallion in the lobby at 11 AM daily to learn all about the beauty around you. Then, pop over to Cape Town Lounge & Wine Bar to enjoy my favorite art form...wine! They have a beautiful selection of wonderful South African wine to experience.

Come back and visit us, Andrea! We are here for you.

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
