Hi, For our upcoming holiday in Jan 2016 - we have QDS booked. Is it possible when collecting whatever meal falls under QDS at a restaurant, we could buy additional things, such as alcohol or an item of food sold there that doesn't fall under QDS?

Hello Lois and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the things I love about the Disney Dining Plans are their flexibility. Anytime you wish to purchase an item not covered by your Disney Dining Plan you can absolutely do so. The Cast Member serving you may gently remind you that such an item is not covered by the plan and you will simply need to assure him or her that this is ok with you. You can then either pay with another form of payment, including charging the item back to your Resort hotel.

If you have more questions, come on back to the Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
