Hey Howdy Hey, Leslie!
Welcome Home and welcome back to planDisney. Yeehaw! How exciting that you are spending some time at one of my favorite Disney Resorts,
Disney's Old Key West. While your home away from home will likely have a coffee machine in your room to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of your favorite Joffrey's flavor, I do understand enjoying a morning coffee walk, especially on the grounds of this beautiful Resort. I love to get a zip-a-dee-doo-dah in my step in the mornings too with a little extra pick-me-up with a coffee to go while I enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding this Resort.
Leslie, the closest place to Disney's Old Key West for a coffee would be the onsite restaurant,
Olivia's Cafe. While this is a sit-down restaurant, they may be able to make you a takeaway coffee. There is also a quick service kiosk on the Resort property that serves breakfast, including hot Joffrey's coffee and cold brew, called
Good's Food to Go. If you are up for a longer walk,
you can walk to Disney Springs from Old Key West, which will take you about 20-30 minutes, where you can find Starbucks. To do this, check with the Front Desk for directions to "Conch Flat Trail," which is the pathway you would take to get there. You could also sail into the great wide somewhere on the complimentary boats from Old Key West to Disney Springs as well.
I hope this helps you, Leslie. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, giddy up back here and give me a holler. I'll be so happy to help you because you've got a friend in me!
Happy Trails,
Keri
