Ahoy there Lisa, it's great to welcome you on board planDisney!
There's really nothing like dropping off the little ones to enjoy some adult beverages on board - especially after spending the day on the beaches of
Disney Castaway Cay! I can definitely understand why you'd be concerned about the timing of your
Mixology Class being close to the All-Aboard time, and I wish we knew which ship and itinerary you'll be on (as well as the age range of your child) so that we'd be able to give you some more specific insight!
The hours for Scuttle's Cove and
Disney's Oceaneer Club do vary between ships and may depend on the voyage that you're on so it's very important to take a look at the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on Embarkation day in order to plan ahead, or even speak with the Youth Activities team directly to see how soon secure programming will resume on board during your day at Disney Castaway Cay. For example on the
Disney Fantasy recently, Scuttle's Cove remained open until 4:00 P.M. while just a week earlier on the
Disney Wish it was open until 3:00 P.M. and based on my personal experience, this is synchronized with the end of Open House hours on board to allow for secure programming to resume for families who have already returned by then. Here's hoping that the timing works out so that you'll be able to drop off your younger sailor in time for you to start sipping away in an adults-only space!
Though this is fairly general, I hope it's still helpful Lisa! You're absolutely welcome to come back to us at planDisney if you'd like us to look up anything with more specifics about your voyage, so that your family can really make the most of the activities that'll keep everyone happy that afternoon!
Wishing you all the best on your upcoming voyage in time for the holidays!
