Hello! We have an upcoming dining reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern. Unfortunately my picky 4 year old will not eat anything on the menu. Will I still be charged for him if he doesn’t eat? Could we bring a quick service meal so he can still eat with us?

    Hi Kayla! Welcome to planDisney!

Your question has me drooling as I dream of the House-made Macaroni and Cheese and Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake from Liberty Tree Tavern! This is one of my favorite spots to dine in Magic Kingdom Park because it is comfort food perfection.

Oh, do I ever understand the challenges of a picky eater! I have two in my family, and fortunately for us, Disney does a great job of letting us dine in peace. I have done exactly what you are proposing! We always pick up a hot dog from a Quick-Service location or grab a couple of Mickey-shaped pretzels before checking in for our Table-Service reservation. The important thing you will want to keep in mind is that since this is an all-you-care-to-enjoy experience, if your little one eats anything from your meal, you will be charged for him. If you think he will want to dive into your dessert, you may want a bring a sweet treat with you for him to enjoy after the meal. Make sure to let the Cast Member assisting you at your meal know that you will not be ordering for your son and that you brought something with you for him to eat. In my experience, they are always very understanding!

I hope you have an ah-maz-ing vacation, Kayla! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
