Ahoy there, Dawei! Welcome aboard planDisney!
Your cruise aboard the Disney Wish is coming up shortly, and I’m so excited for you! My favorite itinerary on a Disney cruise sails to
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, but my absolute favorite itinerary sails to both
Disney Island Destinations during the same sailing! It’s seriously the best of all Disney Cruise worlds! I would love to share the Citizenship Documentation required during your sailing.
To sail to the
Bahamas, guests who are not United States Citizens need a valid passport. If the country they reside in also requires an entry visa, they are responsible for identifying and obtaining it before sailing on their cruise. This means that, yes, the guest in your party who is a Chinese national will need their passport as well as an entry visa if China requires it. If China also participates in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), then it is required to have a valid machine-readable passport and obtain a 72-hour advance travel authorization via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before boarding carriers by air or sea to the US under the VWP. A copy of the approved ESTA application should be brought with them when traveling.
All Passport and Travel Documentation information is available
here. I highly recommend viewing it before your sailing, to ensure that everyone in your party has everything they need.
Dawei, I hope that I was able to offer clarification. I wish you and your family magical moments on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
