Welcome to planDisney, Lisa! I am happy that you have sailed by with your question. Meeting new people on Disney Cruise Line is very special. My family and I have met other people who love Disney Cruise Line while onboard, and we still cruise with them years later.

The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is a great way to stay in touch with others on yoursailing. I have kept up with my tween that way because he is always out having a great time in Edge or eating by the pool. Once you are onboard, you will have a chat ID assigned to you. You can share that with others on your sailing for them to be able to chat with you. You can chat individually or with multiple people at one time. There are also permissions you can control for a child to be able to chat.

If you experience issues with the onboard chat feature or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app in general, you can visit Guest Services while onboard for assistance. Lisa, if you have any other questions, planDisney has answers. Come back to visit us anytime.
