Ahoy, Aimee! It’s lovely to see you at planDisney. Welcome!
What an enchanting adventure you have planned aboard the Disney Dream in just a few weeks! Eleven nights sailing around Northern Europe sounds amazing! I hope the weather is favorable and you catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights while you’re out at sea.
I'm sorry you could not use the link on your reservation page to
pre-pay your gratuities. I had the same experience when trying to pre-pay my gratuities on my last Disney Cruise. Did you happen to use a travel agent to book your cruise reservation? If so, give them a call, and they can apply the payment for you. If you didn’t use a travel agent, reach out to Disney Cruise Line directly, and they can take your payment. Keep in mind that this needs to be done at least three days before you set sail.
Towards the end of your cruise, you will receive a piece of paper with envelopes outlining the gratuities for your dining room server, assistant server, head server, and stateroom host. You can choose to add additional cash to the envelope for exceptional service. Handing these envelopes to the Crew Members at your last dinner or departure breakfast is a Disney Cruise tradition. Don’t worry if you forget; they will still receive their gratuity.
I hope you’re ready for all the fun you’ll have both on and off the ship! The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is a helpful tool to help you navigate your holiday. The app will list all the entertainment on board, like the
Freezing the Night Away deck party. Anna, Elsa, and their friends stop by for a flurry of fun. You won’t want to miss it! You’ll also receive notifications in the app about your
Port Adventures. Have a picture of everyone’s passport saved to your phone to make disembarking the ship easier.
Aimee, I wish you smooth sailing ahead! Should you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again.
SEAS the adventure!
