Hello there, Olivia! Welcome to planDisney. I'm glad you sailed to us with your question!
It sounds like you are considering a change of plans with your upcoming Disney Cruise. I understand that things come up and life happens! Olivia, I encourage you to take a look at the
Booking Terms and Conditions on Disney Cruise Line's website to refer to the cancellation policy for your cruise. When a cruise is canceled and a refund is due, all refunds will go back to the original form of payment. It will not be possible for your husband to receive a credit for a future cruise.
If you are still interested in sailing and would like to bring someone else along with you, you may be able to
modify your cruise booking. I suggest that you
call Disney Cruise Line and speak with a friendly agent about the options for your specific reservation.
I'm sorry if this wasn't the news you were hoping to hear, but I do hope that I've helped point your compass in the correct direction and I hope you are still navigating toward a whole lot of fun onboard a future Disney Cruise!
Did you know that you can take advantage of
booking a placeholder cruise while sailing? This onboard offer is only available while on the ship in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. If you book a placeholder, you can then use it toward most sailings and most stateroom categories to receive a discount on your next cruise as long as it is used within 24 months of booking. Placeholders are completely refundable if your plans change. I always book one... just in case!
Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Olivia. Please cruise our way again in the future with more questions!
Have a Happy New Year,
Adrianna
