    I have an unused ticket under my name and I want to give that ticket to my sister. Can I do that? What is the process to make it happen?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a question! 

    I’m sorry to hear that you won’t be able to make it on your trip to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” But, I am happy to report that you do not have to change the name on your unused ticket for your sister to use it. That’s because upon arrival a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using each ticket. From then on the ticket is associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket.  So feel free to gift your sister with your unused ticket. I hope she has a wonderful time! 

    Don’t forget to ask her to bring you back a souvenir. May I suggest a seasonal popcorn bucket? It’s a two for one. She’ll have a tasty treat to enjoy at the parks and you’ll have a fun collectible to enjoy after.
