I have a unused ticket from 2020 for Disneyland. Am I still able to use it since Disney was shut for so long? How do I make a reservation now for a ticket that is dated 2020? Thanks!

    Hello Kelly,

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kelly! It's really delightful to hear you're planning your return to the Disneyland Resort.

I can share that the Disneyland Resort did extend the expiration dates for a few different types of theme park tickets as a modification to policies related to the closure of the parks. You can take a glance at the "Modifications and Cancellations" overview to see the information on the types of tickets that had expiration dates extended. You'll want to scroll down the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations page to see more information about the modifications.

Depending on the details of your tickets, you might find that the expiration date for your ticket is extended. If you don't see information about your specific ticket type, or if you have additional questions about the expiration date for your ticket, you can reach out to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and speak with a Cast Member for assistance.

It will be important to both link your theme park ticket to your Disneyland Resort account, and to make your theme park reservation to visit the theme parks.

Before planning your visit, you might want to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. The calendar will help you plan your visit by displaying the dates for which the theme parks have reservations available for you to select.

Kelly, I also recommend following the Disney Parks Blog. It's a fun and helpful resource to learn all about what's new and exciting at the Disneyland Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, Kelly!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
