What can you do with an unused ticket

Hi there Lu!  Welcome to planDisney!

The great news about a wholly unused theme park ticket for Disneyland Resort is that you can book a theme park reservation for a date that you're able to visit!  Standard theme park tickets usually do not expire for quite some time, if you purchased a one-day ticket today, it would not expire until December 30, 2025.  Multi-day tickets purchased today must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2026.  The theme park reservation availability calendar will be a great resource to help plan your trip!

If your theme park ticket is expired and wholly unused, you should be able to apply the value to the purchase of a new theme park ticket of equal or greater value.  This could be another great option for you in case your ticket is expired!  You can visit the ticket booths in the Esplanade in the Downtown Disney District or connect with a Cast Member on the Tickets Guest Services Line.

It's currently Halloween Time throughout the entire Disneyland Resort, there is so much spooktacular fun to be had whether it's experiencing the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular in Disneyland Park or Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark in Disney California Adventure Park!  The holidays are right around the corner, I recommend exploring the Disney Parks Blog before your next trip.

I hope this information helps answer your question, Lu!  Please come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
