Hi there, Helen!
Welcome back to
planDisney, and thanks for sending us another question! Have you heard the magical news? The
Disneyland Resort theme parks will soon reopen on April 30, 2021! I’m so excited to get back to the magic this spring.
Theme park tickets are nonrefundable, but you still have more time to plan a visit during 2021! The expiration date of many tickets that were purchased last year and have unused days has been extended through December 16, 2021. I suggest that you link the tickets to your Disney account on
Disneyland.com or in the Disneyland app’s “Tickets and Passes” section. You’ll be able to confirm that your tickets are still valid and see the updated expiration date, if applicable.
Don’t forget that in addition to a valid ticket, you’ll need a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. On the home screen of the
Disneyland app is a section labeled “Park Reservations.” Tap the “Manage or Make Reservations” link to reach the theme park reservations page (the same page you’ll reach if you choose to access the system through
Disneyland.com instead). Tap “Book Theme Park Reservation'' to create your party. On the next screen, all your linked tickets should appear and you can select which ones you want to use to create the reservation. After a couple more clicks, your reservation date will be confirmed and you’ll be well on your way to enjoying a practically perfect day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
I hope this information helps, Helen. Please send us any other questions you may have as you continue planning.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
