Hi there, Sherman!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks so much for stopping by with your
Disneyland Resort question about theme park tickets. I’m so sorry to hear your travel plans were put on hold last year. I hope 2021 will be more magical!
All Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, so you can’t be refunded for unused days if the ticket expires. However, there are still other options available to you. Some theme park ticket expiration dates have already been extended due to the recent closures, so there’s a good chance the extension applies to your tickets. Unused non-promotional single-day tickets that originally expired on December 30, 2020 or March 31, 2021 will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. If your tickets expired outside of these dates and were not used for park entry, you can also use the amount you paid originally as credit toward new tickets once sales have resumed.
I suggest that you link the tickets to your Disney account on
Disneyland.com or the
Disneyland mobile app to check the current expiration date. If you have any issues or have more questions, you can call the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636. Keep in mind that Guests will need a valid theme park ticket linked to their Disney account to make a
theme park reservation using a new online system that will be launched on April 12.
I hope this helps, Sherman. Please write back with any other pixie-dusted planning questions you may have!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
