Hi Mercedes! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am happy to hear that you are planning to use a
Disney Dining Plan during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The dining plans make it easy to budget for your meals and snacks prior to your vacation and it is really nice not to have to worry about the prices on the menus when you are choosing your meals. There are SO many dining choices!
You will be happy to know that with the dining plans,
all of your meal and snack entitlements become available on the day that you arrive for your vacation. For example, if you have chosen the regular
Disney Dining Plan that includes 1 Quick-Service meal, 1 Table-Service meal, and 2 snack entitlements per person, per night, and you are staying for 3 nights, all 3 Quick-Service meals, 3 Table-Service meals, and 6 snacks will be available on your check-in day. From there, you get to choose how and when you use those entitlements and can break it up to fit your needs! Dining at a
Signature restaurant is no trouble at all ... just make sure to keep track of your entitlements as you plan your dining reservations.
California Grill is hands-down my favorite restaurant on all of Walt Disney World Resort property, so I highly recommend it! Since you are visiting in September, I also suggest using some of your snack entitlements at the kiosks around the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Most of the food items on each
Global Marketplace's menu are considered snack entitlements on the dining plans. Not only are they delicious, but they help you get the most value out of your dining plan!
I hope you have a delicious vacation, Mercedes! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
