Hi Tracy, and welcome to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to help one of my Florida neighbors plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World. Let’s talk tickets!
It sounds like you’re the proud owner of a Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket. I’m so glad you were able to take advantage of this great deal! Normally, the answer to your question would be yes, you could indeed apply the cost of your Discover Disney Ticket toward a shiny new Annual Pass. But with Annual Pass sales still on hold for the moment, unfortunately you won’t be able to upgrade your ticket right now. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website for updates on when Annual Pass sales might return.
Okay, so what can you do? First, go ahead and plan your two remaining Disney days, because there’s still plenty of fun to be had! If you’d like to really maximize your theme park time, you could add the
Park Hopper Option to your ticket. That way, you’ll be able to visit more than one park per day. You might want to
call Guest Relations at the “Existing Tickets” number to see what options you have for adding to your ticket.
Another way to add to the magic is to take a look at the latest offer for Florida residents. Right now, you can buy another
4-Day Ticket at a 40% discount. This is a little different from the Discover Disney offer since you’d need to
use all four of your theme park admissions within seven days of your selected start date. So for example, if I buy the 4-Day ticket to start on June 9, I could visit any four days through June 15. It’s one way you can squeeze in a few more days at Walt Disney World this year while we wait for Annual Pass sales to resume.
I hope this helps you enjoy all of your Disney days, Tracy. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
