Hi ya, Lloyd!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing your question to us. We are all EARs and ready to help!
The
Disneyland Resort has announced that many expiration dates have been extended. You can check the Disneyland Resort
website for more information about the new ticket expiration dates for many different ticket types. You’ll be also glad to hEAR that non-promotional single-day tickets that expire on March 31, 2021, will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. Wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets that expire on January 12, 2021, or April 13, 2021, will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. And, the ticket will expire 13 days after first use or on December 16, 2021, whichever occurs first.
The best way to check to see if your ticket’s expiration date has been extended is by linking your ticket to your
Disney account. Once linked, the ticket should reflect the extended expiration date. If your ticket has not been extended or if you’re unable to visit before the expiration, don’t worry. According to the
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for a wholly unused, expired ticket (except for Special Event Tickets) may be used towards the purchase of a new
theme park ticket. This means, as long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or a greater value than what you originally paid, you will be able to apply your current tickets towards the cost of a new one.
Don’t worry too much about the expiration date or trying to squeeze in a visit, there’s some flexibility to your ticket. Again, without knowing the specifics of your ticket I do recommend still checking the website for the most up-to-date information. If you do have any other questions, we are all EARs! Or you can also give the
Ticket Service line a call and a Cast Member there will be more than happy to help.
Thanks again for visiting us and please be sure to bring us any other questions you may have in the future!
