Say cheese, Margarita! Taking pictures is making memories, and if you're like me, both are just as important to capture the magic of a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Let's focus on your question and shoot for an answer that will guarantee you get all the best moments captured on camera!
PhotoPass photographers are available to Guests throughout all of the theme parks and select attractions to capture your memories; all you have to do is find one and smile for the camera! Once you've taken photos, the photographer will scan your MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card and they will show up online in your photo gallery in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, usually within minutes!
The photographers are typically available throughout the day from park opening until closing, and while there isn't a specific time or schedule for them, you can often find them still snapping memories for families as the parks empty out at the end of the day. My family tends to linger after closing, visiting the shops on the way out or jumping in line before closing time for one last attraction rather than exiting with the crowds, and we often get some of our favorite photos as we are leaving with fewer people in the background! This is also a great time to ask the photographers if they have any special
MagicShots that they can add to your photos for a little extra pixie-dusted fun!
Margarita, if you're interested in having downloads to all of the pictures you take, be sure to purchase the
Memory Maker so you will have access to download, save, and print your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos. You can even choose from an assortment of photo gifts and products once you have returned home to display the memories of your vacation!
One last tip I'll leave you with is to make time to visit the
Disney PhotoPass Studio at
Disney Springs for some additional photos during your trip! They offer a variety of backgrounds and props and you can take as many photos as you would like, which are all included in your Memory Maker purchase! It's a great way to make sure everyone is in the picture, so you can focus on the magic all around you!
I hope this helps, Margarita, and I hope your Disney vacation photos bring you joy after you return home! Come on back to
planDisney if you have any other planning questions!
Capture the Magic,
Alison
