Hi there, Bertha! Welcome back to planDisney! I can see that your arrival date is just a few short weeks away. Are you already humming some Disney tunes, daydreaming about strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand, and deciding which attraction you'll hit first? Fire up the countdown calendar because those dreams are about to come true!
Taking a look at your question, I think you are asking about some of the nighttime spectaculars that are returning to Disneyland Park for a limited time! First and foremost is the one-and-only
Main Street Electrical Parade! This beloved parade is celebrating its 50th year, complete with a brand new finale float that I got to see in person a few weeks ago. Let me tell you, it does not disappoint! My heart filled with nostalgic joy seeing the classic Elliot the Dragon float make that turn onto Main Street. And the new finale float? It makes your heart burst with joy like a firework, celebrating "Togetherness" with your favorite characters from
Encanto,
Raya and the Last Dragon,
The Princess and the Frog, and more! You are correct that this wonderful parade is only back for a limited time. While Mickey and Minnie haven't quite revealed when its final performance will be, I can tell you that there will be two showings on June 17th when you plan to be in the parks. Showtimes are subject to change, but currently, it is scheduled to float down Main Street, U.S.A. at both 8:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. that evening. I have a feeling that when it comes time for the parade to take its final bow, it will be no secret. The
Disney Parks Blog is the best place to find breaking news, and I like to give the Disney Parks Instagram a follow as well!
In addition to the parade, the
Disneyland Forever fireworks have also made a limited return, lighting up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle on select nights! You should be all set, weather permitting, for a 9:30 p.m. viewing of the fireworks on June 17th. My tip would be to stake out a spot on Main Street, U.S.A. to watch the first parade. As soon as it passes, you'll be able to grab a spot in the street to see the fireworks just after! If seeing the nighttime spectaculars is a priority on your park day, this is the best way to see both even if you may need to reserve your spot an hour or two ahead of time. The best way to pass the time is to create a DIY Disneyland picnic and use that time to just let the magic settle in, which is easy to do at the Happiest Place on Earth! Start with mobile ordering a classic corn dog from Little Red Wagon, followed by the Strawberry Street Car Sundae from
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, and make sure you grab some of that famous Disneyland popcorn (maybe in a souvenir bucket for extra magic!) just before the parade starts! For the early birds along Main Street, U.S.A., usually the Disney PhotoPass photographers will be out along the parade route with some special photo opportunities, too! You might even spot our number one Mickey Mouse greeting Guests!
Bertha, I am just so excited for you. So much magic awaits! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at

Keep wishing on those stars,
Tara
