Can unopened bottles of water be brought into the parks?

    Hi Rosemary!

One of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting a break from the cold winter weather to enjoy the incredible Florida sunshine! We love to break out the shorts and t-shirts and leave the winter coats at home when we visit. But whether you visit in the winter or summer, it's incredibly important to ensure you stay hydrated during your theme park day.

Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages into the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. This includes both unopened and opened water bottles. In fact, my husband and I often bring a cup of coffee with us as we start our mornings at the theme parks! Keep in mind that you are not able to bring any glass containers into the theme parks or any alcohol. For additional information, you can take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for a complete list of prohibited items. But overall, you are free to bring bottled water with you to help you stay hydrated during the day!

When my family visits, I like to bring refillable water bottles for both of my little ones in my backpack and I fill them throughout the day with either a sports drink or water. All quick service restaurants offer cups of complimentary ice water, which is perfect to refill our water bottles!

Be sure to send us any additional questions you have as you count down the final sleeps until your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
