Unofficially, how early can I check into a resort and be able to get into my room? Are deluxe resorts more accommodating? My family will be driving down and expect to get there pretty early. I know we'd all prefer to get settled before heading to a park.

    Hi Elizabeth!
The best chance you have at an early check-in is to simply ask. However, due to the high guest turnover each day and the need for Mousekeeping to get each room nice and spiffy for the next guests, it is unlikely that your request can be accommodated, but you never know. A simple, polite inquiry never hurt anyone. Typically, check-in is 3PM, so you really are at the mercy of timing. Your desire to check in any earlier than an hour or so before that time is setting up a potential disappointment. You are free, however, to check your luggage with Baggage Services and check in later. That will give everyone a head start on the fun and will help you avoid the waiting game of checking in.
That would be my advice anyway. I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
