If I want an unobstructed theme park view at the Polynesian, but want to stay away from the current DVC construction there, what is my best option?

Welcome to planDisney, Sarah! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a dream for so many families and I'm excited to hear that you have some plans to stay there soon! There is some construction happening there right now, and I'm happy to give you some room recommendations if you want a Theme Park View room but want to avoid any work going on.

Most of the Theme Park View rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are located in the Tuvalu and Aotearoa buildings on the western side of the Resort. These two buildings do happen to be next to the construction of the new Disney Vacation Club area, and I know that's not ideal for you. If you want a Theme Park View that is away from that construction, I recommend booking a Theme Park View - Club Level room. These are located on the second and third floor of the Hawai'i building near Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and have a beautiful view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park. If you book this room category, you'll also have access to Club Level Concierge amenities and Disney Signature Services, which are great ways to add a little bit of added luxury to your vacation.

Sarah, no matter which room category you choose, you're going to love your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Nothing says "vacation" like being just a few steps away from Trader Sam's Grog Grotto!

    Have a magical day!
