Hello, I would like to unlink my parents' Magic Keys from my account so that they can link their passes their own accounts. How can I do this? Thank you!

Hey there, hi there, Grace! I'm so glad you've decided to stop by planDisney to ask us your Magic Key question.

I love hearing that you and your parents are a part of the Magic Key family! That's so special and I hope you have been able to make many memories visiting Disneyland Resort with them. If you want to remove your parents' Magic Keys from your account, you will need to either call Guest Services or chat with a Cast Member in the Disneyland app. However, removing them from your account or Disneyland app isn't necessary in order to have them link their passes to their own accounts. They can go ahead and link their passes to their accounts by using their pass ticket ID number while also still having their passes linked to your account. For example, I frequently go to the parks with one of my fellow panelists, so we actually have each other's passes linked to our accounts. This comes in handy for frequent visits together because we can make theme park ticket reservations for each other or book Lightning Lanes together when we use Disney Genie+.

Be sure to check out the newly released Foodie Guide for Halloween time in the parks so you can plan all the treats and eats you want for your next visit. Halloween time starts September 1, 2023.

Grace, I hope I've been able to answer your question. Please come back and see us again!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
