MagicBand+ is one of my favorite accessories on vacation, as I can enter the parks, tap into
Lightning Lanes, pay for merchandise, unlock my hotel door, and do much more - all with a quick tap of the wrist! In fact, I have several different MagicBands linked to my account, so I pick different colors and designs based on my outfit or the park I'm visiting.
Once a MagicBand+ has been linked to a My Disney Experience account, it unfortunately
cannot be transferred to a new account. If you'd like to add a MagicBand+ to another member of your party, you can purchase one in most retail locations around the parks and resorts and then link it via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Emmerson, I can also share that there are two other options that you can consider for those in your party who don't currently have a MagicBand+. The first is
Disney MagicMobile Service - my husband's preference. He doesn't like to wear a MagicBand+ in addition to his smartwatch, so he
creates a digital pass to save to his phone and access on his smartwatch. You can also
request a Key to the World Card. My middle son used this after forgetting his MagicBand+ in the room one day. These are plastic cards the size of a credit card, which are connected to your account so you can access your park tickets, Lightning Lane entries, and more.
While I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, I hope this information helps you prepare for your arrival tomorrow! If you have any issues with your MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile Service, or Key to the World Card during your stay, just stop by the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel or a
Guest Relations location for assistance, and a Cast Member will be happy to do what they can to help. You can also find Cast Members at the blue umbrellas labeled
"Guest Experiences" around the parks for assistance, too.
