How do I unlink my band

Hello, Linda! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Deactivating your MagicBand is a pretty simple process. Personally, I really like using the mobile app for all my trip planning needs. It's very user-friendly. If you have the app downloaded to your smartphone, here are the steps to deactivating your MagicBand.
    1. Log into your My Disney Experience account via the mobile app.
    2. Select the "My Profile" option
    3. Click on the "MagicBands & Cards" option
    4. Click on "Your MagicBands & Cards"
    5. This will bring up a screen that shows all of your MagicBands - active and inactive
    6. Select the MagicBand you'd like to deactivate
    7. Click "Deactivate"
If you don't want to use the app, you can also deactivate your MagicBand on your personal computer.
    1. Log into your My Disney Experience account
    2. Hover over the tab on the top right corner of your screen "MyDisneyExperience" - this will open up a drop-down menu
    3. Click "My MagicBands and Cards"
    4. You will see all of your MagicBands. Choose the MagicBand you'd like to deactivate and select "Inactive"
That's it! It's a pretty simple process. I don't think you'll have any issues deactivating one of your MagicBands now. However, if you still have trouble please feel free to reach back out. I hope this helps!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
